Cleanup Australia Day - 02-03-2025

Clean Up Australia Day is on Sunday 2 March, and this year is Brible Island Clean Up events.

This is a great opportunity for anyone who uses and loves our beachs to help keep them beautiful, so it’d be great to see you there!

Departure Time: 9:30am

They will provide bags.

This year's QLD 4x4 Club Clean Up Australia Day event is on Sunday 2 March. Meeting 9:30am at Sunset Park, 1 Marina Boulevard, Banksia Beach (Bribie Island). This is a registered event with CleanUp Australia, supported by Moreton Bay City Council. The plan is to clean up along the foreshore and adjacent park until 11am. We will then have an early lunch, splash about followed by a drive. Bring your club shirt, sunsafe gear, and gloves. Rubbish bags will be supplied and collected by Council..  Please register on the club trip registration.

If you are attending the drive after lunch, you will need to arrange your own beach permit.

What to bring: Bring cloves, rubish pick up stick, hat, sunscreen,  water, swimmers for after if like to have a dip and something to eat.
