Mindoo Station will be base camp for the trip 19km east of Tenterfield, 1100 acres on the Cataract River. Toilet at campsite but no shower
Carpet Snake 4wd: Explore the mining and history of the granite highlands, climb the thunderbolts lookout, then tackle the steep carpet snake trail.
Visit the impressive basket swamp falls in the boonoo state forest, with a stop at crooked creek mine & a steep track down to a remote section of the cataract river.
