Emu Creek Retreat NSW 05-2024

This is a long Weekend camping and 4WDing trip in a park in NSW. The Plan is for some fun scouting of tracks, happy hour in the afternoons and dinner around the campfire

There are NO powered sites so weekend is off grid. Generators are allowed up to 8pm within reason (Does not annoy other campers)

Firewood Cannot be bought in from Qld but pleanty available onsite for collection
Pets welcome but as this is an operational farm must be restrained by a responsible adult at all times

Information from park

If you are coming from Brisbane your gps will be fine will take you through Beaudesert, along Mt Lindesay Hwy to Woodenbong, at Urbenville turn left into the Clarence way and not far after Old Bonalbo turn right into Hootons Rd. This one ends at Paddy’s Flat Rd where you turn right and Emu creek Rd is about 500m.

For those that like a more smoother ride they can go on the freeway and use the Bruxner hwy where they can turn into Paddy’s Flat Rd about 3km past Tabulan. Along Paddy’s Flat Rd is 9.5 km to Emu Creek Rd. DO NOT TURN INTO SUGARBAG RD even if your gps tell you so.

Once in our property reception is 1.5 km from the gate.

All the roads are suitable for any vehicle at present.

Is not allowed to bring fire wood into NSW so bring chainsaws since there is plenty of firewood along the tracks inside the property. No cutting of anything green only dead wood.
