Club Trips
New Members are required to attend a club driver training program designed to ensure a minimum safety standard prior to attending club trips that are rated above medium level.

Safety Induction
Queensland 4x4 Club bylaws state that all participants of trips above a medium rating must have successfully completed the Club's Driver Safety Induction program or have a National Accreditation Certificate.
The aim of the short program is to ensure a common basic level of driver awareness and skill to ensure the safety and enjoyment of club trips. Members how have previously attended the training program are still welcome to attend to attend to further hone their skills in a controlled environment.
The Club Driver Safety Induction program is free to financial members and is run on demand within the local area. The program runs approximately for 4 hours [allow longer as we usually go for a drive afterwards] and covers the following topics:

If you are interested in attending the Safety Induction program, please place your name on the trip sheet and you will be notified when the next Safety Induction Training will be held or alternatively contact our Driver Training Coordinator.
Accredited Training
The Accredited Training is an assessment weekend where you will need to demonstate the compentancies required to achieve the qualification.
The Queensland 4WD Club is currently conducting assessmetns under license from Four Wheel Drive Queensland for financial memebers that want to participate and receive a nationally recognised qualification.

Membership Renewal Fees
The membership renewal fee of $70.00 comprises the two components below:
- Four Wheel Drive QLD Association Fee $30.00 annually
- Membership Renewal Fee $40.00 annually
Your membership Fees include - annual insurance, state association fee, club house rental and club running costs

Minimum Requirements
All visitors and members must comply with Club’s minimum requirements when embarking on a Club 4WD trip. You are required to have the following equipment in your vehicle whilst participating on trips:

* Fire Extinguisher | * Rated Recovery Points, Front and Rear |
* Can of CRC or similar | * UHF Radio |
